Mathematics is a skill required in every day life, in many different situations, and is equally as important as literacy skills. There are five content strands of mathematics in the Mathematics K-6 Syllabus– Number, Patterns & Algebra, Data, Space & Geometry and Measurement. Working Mathematically is a process strand that is integrated into the content strands.

All classes from K-6 use aspects of the Count Me in Too program.  In this program there is greater emphasis on teaching visualisation and mental strategies.
