• Yarrawarrah Activity Centre provides before and after school care for the children attending Yarrawarrah Public School. The centre, known as The Cottage, provides a safe, caring and supportive environment through a properly supervised, creative and non threatening program of activities.

     

    The Before-and-After School Care Centre offers a much-needed service to working parents.  The centre is open between 7am and 9am and between 3.20pm and 6pm.  Jane Sinclair the coordinator and her assistants provide a caring, nurturing environment for the students who attend.  The premises are clean and bright, with a covered pergola area and open space for supervised outdoor play.  Students enjoy the afternoon tea treats and engage in fun craft activities and games each day.


  • The canteen is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday for lunch. The canteen follows Healthy School Canteen guidelines and is staffed by parents and community volunteers.


  • Yarrawarrah Public School provides a library located within the student block which holds Years 4 and 5. The library is a necessary resource within the school, with workstations and printing facilities available.

    • Our brand new hall was constructed in 2006. It is used by by the school on a daily basis as part of our dance, drama, music and sport programs and also for our weekly assemblies.

      The hall is utilised by local community groups away from school hours and we welcome your enquiries regarding hiring rates and availability.
