Book Swap Day

children-booksLast year all students participated in a book swap day for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. We raised over $400 which was amazing and gratefully received. This year’s book swap will be held in the library before school and at lunchtime on Thursday
25th August. All children are encouraged to bring one or two books that they are willing to recycle, donate a $2 coin to participate and take home new books. It’s a win-win-win event; recycling, renewing and fundraising. Funds raised will go to
the Save the Bilby Fund in line with last term’s library theme of environment and endangered Australian animals.

Dust off those shelves kids, find a book to swap and bring it on the day. Please don’t send books earlier than Thursday 25th as storage is unavailable.
